The Online Citizen said reducing income inequality in Singapore is better than imposing quotas for university entries.
How is able to reduce income inequality may we ask? If the Government don’t impost quotas for university entries and there’s an over supply of degree holders with not enough degree jobs, wouldn’t it cause higher unemployment or underemployment that would actually result in higher income inequality?
Furthermore, TOC also spreading lies about Singapore is lacking state assistance to help mitigate unknowables for Singaporeans like healthcare expenses and retirement.
Really? Singaporeans have huge subsidies for medical, Medifund for those who can’t pay for their medical bills, CPF for basic retirement needs, Comcare and many other financial assistance for the needy. What lies!
